Residents of Cedar Creek Lake are getting ready to enjoy the upcoming July Fest to be held July 30 at the Gun Barrel City Park. Historically, a firework show is displayed for attendees to enjoy but the recent disaster declaration made by Henderson County has changed the festivals plans.
“Due to the severe weather conditions, we will no longer be able to enjoy a firework show at July Fest but here is the good news, in place of the firework show we will be lighting up the sky during July Fest with a stunning drone light show,” the city stated on social media July 23.
